Asset Manager - Chile (Santiago)
The Role:
The Asset Manager will be a key member of the Asset Management team, reporting into the Head of Asset Management Chile. The Asset Manager is responsible for the verification of the operation of sites and projects in the Spanish Sonnedix portfolio of Solar Power Plants. The position assesses and optimizes the performance of the assets over their entire lifecycle, focusing on Risk and Health and Safety (H&S) management and the optimization of available resources across the asset stakeholders. The main goal is to detect and investigate potential endemic failures, propose and evaluate upgrading solutions and control PV outputs, suggest performance improvements based on site evaluation and remote monitorization analysis, and ensure the optimum performance of the plants.

The Asset Manager will also support on contracts negotiation (O&M and related contracts) and manage close relationships with key stakeholders especially with landowners, authorities, lenders, investors, and operators for maintenance of the relevant Chile plants.

Desirable skills:
- Engineering degree complemented by technical/commercial training
- Significant experience in Solar PV in Chile, ideally within O&M
- Experience of asset optimization over their entire lifecycle
- Good relationship builder with an open and honest communication style

El Asset Manager será un miembro clave del Equipo de Gestión de Activos, informando al Jefe de Gestión de Activos de Chile. El Asset Manager es responsable de la verificación de la operación de sitios y proyectos en la cartera chilena de Plantas Solares Sonnedix. La posición evalúa y optimiza el rendimiento de los activos a lo largo de todo su ciclo de vida, centrándose en la gestión de riesgos y salud y seguridad (H&S) y la optimización de los recursos disponibles entre las partes interesadas de los activos. El objetivo principal es detectar y analizar posibles fallas endémicas, proponer y evaluar soluciones de actualización y controlar los resultados fotovoltaicos, sugerir mejoras de rendimiento basadas en la evaluación del sitio y el análisis de monitoreo remoto, y asegurar el rendimiento óptimo de las plantas. El Gestor de Activos también apoyará la negociación de contratos (O&M y contratos relacionados) y gestionará estrechas relaciones con las principales partes interesadas, especialmente con terratenientes, autoridades, prestamistas, inversores y operadores para el mantenimiento de las plantas relevantes de Chile.

Habilidades deseables:
- Grado de ingeniería complementado con formación técnica/comercial
- Experiencia significativa en Energía Solar Fotovoltaica en Chile, idealmente dentro de O&M
- Experiencia en optimización de activos a lo largo de todo su ciclo de vida
- Buen constructor de relaciones con un estilo de comunicación abierto y honesto
