The Asset Manager is responsible for the operation of several sites / projects in the Spanish Sonnedix portfolio of Solar Power Plants. The Asset Manager sustains and optimises the performance of the assets over their entire life-cycle, focusing on Risk and H&S Management, and the optimization of available resources across the asset stakeholders. The main objective is to ensure that the plants are meeting electricity production targets while keeping costs under control. He / she will have accountability for the operations and maintenance of the relevant plants in close collaboration with the local finance team and the asset management team in London, including:

• Maximising production and billing of the power plant portfolio to meet or exceed the business plan, minimizing downtime and maximising efficiency
• Ensuring the completeness of the documentation register on all plants
• Monitoring of plant performance and issue detection, analysis and resolution on daily, weekly and monthly basis
• Plant performance and incident reporting and analysis
• O&M and security provider task and documentation control
• Supplier company checks and audits
• Support on contracts negotiation (O&M, security and related contracts)
• Enforcement of warranties with contractors and suppliers
• Follow-up on insurance claims and related claims management

Daily Tasks
• Daily receipt and processing of sensor data
• Plant: PR and fiscal meter production
• Inverter: kWh, kWh/kWp and PR
• DC: string current, power, ...
• On all sensors loss analysis and red flagging
• Actual Vs budget comparison
• Daily spread-sheet generation and sending
• O&M contractor chasing on daily basis, open issues list update and follow up,

Weekly Tasks
• Weekly call with O&M and other providers’ preparation and management
• Open issues list
• Escalation if required
• Weekly operations status update

Monthly Tasks
• Invoicing generation / follow up. Generate claims to the utility if necessary.
• Payment input / tracking with accountancy department
• Monthly report input by day 10 – with detailed loss analysis if required
• Site visits reports monthly
• O&M/ security provider report check and challenge – lead of monthly follow-up call
• Principal invoice validation: Consumption, water, coms, insurance, security - check against budget estimations and red flag if necessary
• Insurance claims follow up, manage all parties involved, provide documents required to insurer such as invoices, loss of profit etc…
• EPC guarantees follow up: Penalty / bonus calculation if necessary
• O&M guarantees follow up: Penalty / bonus calculation if necessary
• Security Company guarantees follow up. Penalty calculation if necessary
• Inverters contract guarantees follow up: Penalty calculation if necessary
• Preparation and management of the mandatory inspections (CNMC, INE, ...)
• Site visit general check (depending on plant size more or less frequently):
• Spare parts check list
• Weather stations status, pictures
• Roads and drainages general status
• Security system control check, including revision of the quarterly report. Coordinate on site visits
• Specific plant deep check (panels status, DC boxes, shelter, etc…)
• Prepare depending on the condition of the plant a visual inspection plan to ensure to a 100% check with infrared etc. at least annually

If required
• PAC supervision according to the EPC conditions and PAC punch list follow up
• FAC punch list generation and follow up
• Own relationships with technical Advisor, legal advisor and insurance, ...
• Own relationships with local communities, land owners and third parties involved in the project
• Manage and have updated all the documentation related with the project such as:
• Permits (at least all the documents mentioned at the legal due diligence)
• Contracts (at least SPA, EPC, O&M, Security, communications, ...)

• Insurance policies and payment check
• O&M/security reports
• Production reports
• Principal invoices
• Provider change follow up if necessary

Key Competencies
- Solid working knowledge of monitoring and asset management software platforms
- Detailed knowledge and / or exposure to relevant local administrative AM framework
- Ability to create and maintain operating budgets

- Strong analytical, critical and structured thinking skills

- Experience managing direct and indirect reports, but also a self-starter thriving on challenge

- Successful track record of negotiating/communicating/managing external parties such as, but not limited to, O&M suppliers, subcontractors, insurance companies, technical advisors, national, regional or local stakeholders (land owners, regulators, municipalities…)

Key Accountabilities
- Create and manage operational budgets that optimize cost while maintaining quality
- Ensure accurate and on-time payments to suppliers, landowners, authorities and other payees

- Detect plant issues and drive quick implementation of corrective actions
- Report incidents and lead investigations from root cause analysis through to corrective action
- Monitor plant performance and ensure production is maximized
- Critical checks on site through regularly scheduled site visits and issue tracking
- Manage O&M service provider partnerships and contracts, and enforce compliance obligations
- Contract management and optimization across required service provider network
- Obtain and maintain the licenses and permits necessary to keep the plant operational
- Submit accurate and on-time reporting as required by authorities and other stakeholders
- Take out and maintain required insurance policies and process claims
- Ensure compliance with all lender and insurance requirements
- Warranty claim management and following up of status
- Manage stakeholder relationships, especially with landowners, authorities, lenders and investors
- Risk Matrix Management: consolidation, maintenance and update of assets risk registry
- Ensure IT platforms are developed and used to achieve best-in-class asset management
- Consolidate, maintain and update portfolio relevant documentation as per Sonnedix standards
- Management in full compliance of applicable Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) regulation
- Implement and operate under Sonnedix Environmental Social Governance (ESG) standards

- Analyse plant data, identify improvement opportunities, and lead implementation of changes
- As required, support business needs for technical due diligence requests
- Work with the global Asset Management team on optimization initiatives
